Drawing has always been the foundation of visualization. Everyone has experienced it at some point in their lives. Anywhere from taking a crayon or chalk as a child and drawing a picture of your family or pet to, perfecting your signature--arguably one of the most defining gestures of who we are as humans.
Urban life has many intricate layers; from the architectural aesthetic and regulations of a city to the social and political interactions that take place within the heart of each metropolis. They all have a life to them, a constant movement, growth, and decay. This growth is a direct result of the people within that environment.
These drawings and paintings are a range of direct and abstract compilations mapping city life--the connections, dialog, the complex ideas, and changes that occur within these locations on a daily basis.
